Altar linens

Altar Servers
Boys and girls, fourth grade and up, who are trained to assist the priest during the Mass celebration. There is always room for children to join this important ministry! If you are a server who is already serving and wanting to sign up for 2021-2022 or if you are a new server, click here for server form.
Candles
Members in this ministry collect, wash and dry votive glass holders. They refill glass holders with new candles and return them. Please contact Anna Sudomerski (843) 597-1879.
Church Cleaners
Volunteers assist staff in the bi-weekly cleaning of the church and chapel. Contact Anna Sudomerski at the parish office (843) 522-9555.
Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion
Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion for Mass assist the clergy in distribution of the Eucharist. Application for training and commissioning is made through the parish office (843) 522-9555.
Flowers (Sanctuary Environment)
Members of this ministry decorate the sanctuary, prepare and arrange flowers for weekly Masses and special feasts. Call Camille Prince at (734) 560-4436.
Healing Prayer Ministry
Come and join us for "Healing Prayer Night" on the second Sunday of each month. Each evening will be a miniature version of one of the healing mission nights, with Eucharistic Adoration, singing, and prayer. You will have opportunities to ask God for healing or to ask others to pray with you. Please invite your friends and family; all are welcome! Hospitality Ministry
Hopitality members welcome, assist in seating and help Mass attendees with miscellaneous questions and concerns as they relate to Mass attendance. We perform weekly head counts, do the collection and initiate the chain of custody for collection materials. We help guide people to Communion. We perform other non-routine activities such as reserving pews for special occasions as directed by the pastor or as requested by ministry leaders. Music
This ministry strives to lead parishioners in worship of God through sacred music that is firmly planted in the vast, rich musical heritage of the Catholic faith. Singers and players of musical instruments are encouraged to join one or more of these groups: adult choir, children's choir, Coro Hispano. Perpetual Adoration
The Blessed Sacrament is exposed 24 hours a day in Our Lady's Chapel located behind the main sanctuary of the main church. Adorers are scheduled in one hour blocks so that someone is in the Chapel 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Please contact parsih office at (843) 522-9555.
Pew Literature Maintenance
Each Monday morning at 6:00 am, members of this ministry dust, sweep and mop sanctuary area and then check the hymnal pockets for trash or missing books and blue welcome envelopes. If interested, call Anna Sudomerski (843) 597-1879.
Proclaimers of the Word
These are the members of the parish (English and Spanish) who proclaim the first and second readings during holy Mass. Special training is required. Please call the parish office (843) 522-9555.
Sacristans
These individuals prepare for the celebration of Holy Mass. Among other duties, they assure the correct liturgical colors are in use, the candles are lit, the book readings are marked, and the linen pieces are available and appropriate. They also attend after Mass to the cleaning of the cups that have held the Blood of Christ and the lavabo bowls. Training is required for this ministry. Safety Team Ministry
The members of our safety team help the greeters and ushers welcome everyone, while on the lookout for anything suspicious or out of the ordinary. They are stationed in different areas of the church and be prepared to help in the event of an emergency. Contact parish office if interested. -
